Now that you've got messenger birds, you'll be able to send/receive messages from your friends about their personal affairs and affections. You'll now be focusing on your comrades and leaf peers with this event. which could help you with your item hunting, Some can find food, shiny objects, ninja tools, etc.
NOTE: Once you've captured a bird, you can send up to 5 on active duty depending on it's attributes. If you fail and it flies away, you can just keep leaving and re-entering any of the given areas and the bird will reappear for another try: there are also 10 total birds needed for capture. A gauge will then appear and you'll need to press A in the given area to capture the bird. In order to successfully capture a bird you'll need approach it from behind at a slow-moving pace and press B. Your first bird is tutored at the Training Fields. Here you'll need to capture several different birds for messenger purposes and such. For this mission you'll need to trigger "Messenger Bird Hunt" at the messenger tower. Once you've extinguished his arsenal and plans, he will flee forever. You'll have to fight off a few more Cursed Dolls, then his Ultimate Dolls, Cursed Sage Mode Naruto. After sometime, Lady Tsunade will send a messenger bird to his location (Orochimaru's Hideout) where you can finish the job. However, after you've returned the last of the dolls he will deceive you and flee with plans of evil ambition. After you've defeated a few, return the dolls to the Master and he'll give you new targets to find. As you progress through the game you'll be given listings of the target, their difficulty rank, their bounty (in RYO), and their location to make it easier for you.
